Ramsey Canyon Birthday Hike | Tucson Children’s Photographer

Rather than giving my family something they really really want for their birthdays, I force them to spend time with me. It’s really evil I know, but I’m going to continue to do it anyway. I love it, and that’s what matters isn’t it?! No?!

I left it up to the birthday peeps (my lil’ sister (she’ll be thrilled that I call her that here) and my nephew) on where to go and what to do. In the end, my nephew decided to get lunch and hike Ramsey Canyon. It’s pretty generous of him to have picked one of MY favorite activities, isn’t it? 😉 Also, I hadn’t been up there in ages…

We did a lot of rule breaking. (ie; “don’t drive down this road” and “don’t divert from the designated path”) Yeah, yeah, yeah…

We found hundreds of migrating caterpillars that reminded us of “the worm” from Labyrinth. We peeked inside an old abandoned cabin. We laughed, a lot! I even showed up in some of these images! It’s pretty standard for me to act like a goofball in pictures and try really hard to act cool.

Oh, and just for fun, can you find the little lizard with a view?
