Adoption | Tucson Family Photographer

I walk away from adoption sessions the same way I do birth photography sessions, with a flood of joy pulsing through my veins. I feel happy, rejuvenated and experience an overwhelming sense of purpose. I walk away wondering how I’m this lucky- how is it that I get to do this job? It’s just too good to be true!

I want you to meet this absolute doll face, Dominic. He found a home with the Oertle’s and I’m pretty sure this little guy will never be lonely. He had about a million people there welcoming him “officially” into their family. What a beautiful sight it was!

This family contacted me through the Red Thread Sessions organization, which pairs adoptive families with photographers willing to do photo sessions for free or at a discounted rate. Love them!

Heather Halford Whitten - We finalized our daughter’s adoption [through foster care] in October a few courtrooms down from this one. I wish I would have thought to look into Red Thread. This post brings all of those amazing emotions right back to me! Such a special day for them, you did a great job<3ReplyCancel
