I’m feeling so uninspired lately. It could be the blasting heat in Tucson, AZ. Summers here are brutal. I’ve waited so long for some awesome monsoon sessions, but our house is situated in the armpit of the universe apparently, because although some parts of the city have been flooded, we haven’t had but a couple drops thus far. I hope that changes. Maybe and hopefully, my 10 on 10 next month will boast a monsoon themed array of images of soaked children and awesome skies.
Fortunately, even with the absence of cooler monsoon-filled afternoons, I did get to spend the fourth with my family in cooler quarters. We spent the day with my good friend, Norah and her family out in the country, which apparently sparks my creativity match. It’s so strange. Every time we’re together (out in the country), I come home with 100’s of images I love. Maybe it’s because she’s awesome and so hilarious and we have a blast together?! It sure would be nice to put her in my pocket for all of my sessions. 😉
So here’s how we spent our 4th:
parade (first ever with the kids)
slip n’ slide
food (including s’mores, tacos, ribs, hot dogs, salad, & cobbler)
loads of laughs and good conversation
Happy Birthday USA!
